We firmly believe that performance excellence begins at the staff level – the front line staff must be empowered to identify and implement changes real-time. That is why at BajaOrtho, all of our staff are undergoing cross-functional training on not just quality improvement methodologies, but also on the latest clinical quality techniques and processes. Our patient safety processes are modeled off of those recommended by the World Health Organization. Additionally, our cross-functional team-based approach for our administrative and clinical teams ensures a constant stream of communication across all areas of the organization.

In addition to a performance excellence program, we are proud to announce that we will be implementing an electronic medical record and electronic practice management suite towards the end of this year. This software will allow patients to log in directly and view their medical record after their visit. In addition, this software suite will also allow for online appointment requests, direct insurance billing (when available), and the option to complete a portion of the pre-visit intake paperwork before even coming to the doctor’s office. Electronic Medical records are becoming a universal standard across the world, and while there is still significant amount of work to be done to achieve complete interconnectivity, these first steps will support our efforts in ensuring the appropriate level and ease of care coordination across your providers.
